The Børresen M-Series Now in Gold Signature

The Børresen M1, M2, M3 and M6 are now available in Gold Signature versions, incorporating technologies originally developed for the M8 Gold Signature flagship model

Aalborg, Denmark, 1 September 2026 – Audio Group Denmark presents the Gold

Signature version of the Børresen M-Series, introducing the M1, M2, M3 and M6

Gold Signature.

Building on the technology developed for the flagship M8 Gold Signature, the

new versions incorporate advances in driver construction, resonance control and

noise reduction, further advancing Børresen’s most ambitious loudspeaker range.

Each model retains its established design while delivering an even higher level of

musical performance.

Developed from the inside out

The M8 Gold Signature was created by examining how much further the performance

of the M-Series could be taken. Rather than focusing on any single component,

Michael Børresen and his engineering team revisited the complete driver system –

from the basket and membrane construction to the behaviour of the magnet motor.

At the heart of the development is a new driver basket milled from solid austenitic

stainless steel, treated with the latest and most advanced Ansuz Signature surface

coating and cryogenically processed to further enhance mechanical stability. Within

this rigid foundation, a four-layer membrane comprising of an aramid honeycomb

core, spread-tow carbon-fibre skins and an external titanium layer featuring Ansuz

Signature coating combines exceptional stiffness with remarkably low mass.

The patented iron-free magnet motor has also been upgraded with a new hybrid

pole ring combining copper, silver and gold. By further reducing inductance and

improving linearity, the construction allows the voice coil and membrane to respond

to the musical signal with greater speed, control and precision.

Together with the advanced RP94 Signature ribbon tweeter, Ansuz Gold Signature

internal wiring and integrated noise-reduction technologies, these developments

create a quieter and more controlled operating environment throughout the

loudspeaker. The result is not simply greater resolution, but a more natural sense

of timing, dynamics and space allowing the musical performance to emerge with

greater clarity, realism, and effortlessness.

Gold Signature performance available to existing M-Series owners

Gold Signature performance will not be limited to newly manufactured models.

Existing Børresen M1, M2, M3 and M6 loudspeakers will be eligible for an upgrade

comprising the new Gold Signature drivers together with the RP94 Signature ribbon

tweeter. This allows existing owners to benefit from the latest developments while

retaining the loudspeakers they already own. The upgrade will be available through

authorised Børresen partners, who will assist owners through the entire process.
