The A2 sits between the X-Series and C-Series. Therefore, it creates a new path into the Børresen range.
It draws on ideas developed for the company’s higher-tier loudspeakers. At the same time, it offers a more attainable route into high-end Børresen performance.

The A2 is more than a larger version of the A1.
Its floorstanding cabinet allows it to move more air. Therefore, it can produce deeper bass and a stronger sense of scale.

The A2 uses one DCC5s bass/midrange driver and one dedicated DCC5s bass driver. These work with the RP94 ribbon tweeter in a 2.5-way system.
This layout gives the A2 greater low-frequency authority. However, it also keeps the crossover structure simple.
As a result, the speaker can deliver weight and impact without losing coherence.

The membrane can also withstand temperatures of up to 600°C without losing performance.

The A2 follows Børresen’s 2.5-way design philosophy.
One DCC5s driver covers bass and midrange frequencies. Meanwhile, the second DCC5s driver strengthens the lower bass range.
