Wilson Audio Duette 2‘s w/internal Nordost Odin wiring
About the customization. The Wilson Audio Duette 2’s are famous for their extraordinary sound and design optimized to play even at a very close distance to the back wall. The regular Duette 2’s retail is $22,500, and the owner invested close to $20K in upgrades.
The internal wiring was replaced with Nordost Reference and an Odin level connection between the crossover and the speaker. Additionally the crossover was pulled away from the stands and RevOPods were setup into the bottom. All of this to eliminate vibration and noise and isolate the crossover.
The result is a full sound that expresses accurately every nuance in the recording maximizing emotion and musicality. It’s difficult to believe this is a monitor, since the loudspeakers sound bigger than their size. High-end imaging, big soundstage.
The speakers and stands are shipped in original crates with grilles and manual. Local pickup is also available.
