The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC Power Distribution unit exploits two different ways of conditioning the mains current, a passive and an active mechanism, the passive coil-based mechanism rounds of noise transients, so your Hifi equipment better deals with transient current noise and an active where the noise spike is sampled and a counter noise transient spike is added to further condition the current to an even lower noise floor for an unmatched clarity and spatial focus.
Mains current noise is delicate matter, if you use too strong tools you also remove the music transients that keeps the music alive. The Mainz8 D·TC Power distributors parallel way of filtering simply avoids the compression of inductive serial components and let you enjoy the live sensation of music.

As its predecessor, the new Ansuz Mainz8 D·TC power pistributor basicly distribute mains power and an effective ground connection. It has 8 dedicated power outlets and packed with technology and the experience we have gained from creating the Ansuz D·TC Cable series and from the new Ansuz 2-series.
As a contrast to the vast amount of technology, the model is harmonically tuned using rosewood boards, where the properties of this amazing natural material is utilized to harmonically tune mechanics.
Ansuz Mainz8 D·TC is almost double the size of our previous models, simply to accommodate the amount of technologies we have wanted to supply. We have retained our special features where the outlets are mounted sideways so that the connected cables do not tear up in all directions but can easily be arranged along the floor or behind a rack system. CABLE LENGTHS MATTERS
Due to the construction of Ansuz cables, you will always get a more positive influence on the sound quality when using longer cables. Obviously, there are limitations to how long cables you want in your system. However, any Ansuz cable in two meter will clearly sound better than a one meter – a four-meter cable performs even better….
QUALITY LEVEL IS SUPERIOR TO CABLE LENGTHS
An Ansuz cable in a higher quality level will outperform any length of cable from a lower level. So, if you do not need the length a 4 meter Ansuz A2 you should rather go for a 2 meter Ansuz C2.
All Ansuz Mainz cables feature DGC technology® (Direct Ground Connector). With all your components connected with Mainz cables to an Ansuz Mainz8 power distributor, you will minimize the ground potential between your devices and thus minimize ground current and signal induced fluctuations.
It can be an advantage to connect Ansuz Mainz cables to a grounded wall power socket. However, it is not crucial, if you use an Ansuz power distributor. The Ansuz Mainz8 features an extremely low impedance star-grounding configuration.
Beside efficient power and ground distribution noise suppression is one of the key features of the Ansuz Mainz8 power distributors. The Ansuz Sparkz noise cancellation system is very different from the technology used in power conditioners, as it works parallel to the current feed by adding countersignals to the detected noise signals.
